Stella Released Today

The story of one ageing spy and the world's most beautiful and elusive assassin is Colin's second major work of fiction; his first in five years.

Speaking today about the release of STELLA, Colin said: "I'm absolutely thrilled. This book has a lot of personal meaning for me and marks a major milestone in my writing. It's a damn good read in my opinion, and I hope my readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it."

The e-book, priced at $4.50 (USD) is available now from Eternal Press.

Selektion Second Edition Released

Stella by Colin GalbraithA second edition of Colin's popular anthological e-book, Selektion, was released today as part of the 2009 Poetry Super Highway Free-For-All.

First published in May 2007, this 45 page e-book contains Colin's favourite poetry from all of his four previously published work.

Poems appear from e-books, Brick by Brick (2005) and Silly Poems for Wee People, Vol.1 (2007), as well his critically acclaimed chapbooks Fringe Fantastic (2005) and Poolside Poetry (2007) - all of which you can obtain from this website using the menu on the right hand side.

Stella Book Cover Released

Stella by Colin GalbraithThe front cover for Colin's new book, Stella, has now been released by publisher, Eternal Press. The cover shows Stella's mysterious silhouette while kissing a gun, indicative of her status as the world's finest female assassin, and is set against the backdrop of a moonlit Amsterdam canal.

"It's an exciting image," said Galbraith earlier today. "It captures the mood and cadence of the book perfectly, with the spy theme and location, while giving Stella that elusive quality she will no doubt become famous for."

Who is Colin Galbraith?

Colin GalbraithColin Galbraith is the Chief Editor and Publisher of The Ranfurly Review, and an Associate Editor at The Scruffy Dog Review. He has published many short stories, poems, non-fiction articles and reviews, in both print and online publications.

His novel, Hunting Jack, was first serialised in 2004 by US-based publisher, Keep It Coming, and his first chapbook, Fringe Fantastic: The Poet's Experience of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, was published in paperback by Smashing Press in December 2005 to critical acclaim. Poolside Poetry was his second paperback, and followed in March 2007, also from Smashing Press.

Colin has published three e-books of poetry; Brick by Brick (2005), Silly Poems for Wee People Vol.1 (2006), and Selektion (2007). He edited his first anthology, Full Circle – An ARS Concordia Anthology in 2007 and his children's poem, River Monkeys, appeared in A Pocketful of Fun, published by Forward Press in 2006.

All of his published work is available on this site for free download or purchase.

He lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with his wife and daughter, two rabbits and a load of fishes. He is a fully trained expert at fake falling.
